Can’t stop listening to this. Video is depressingly beautiful!

Lauren Conrad dyes hair with chalk!

Lauren Conrad has apparently dyed her hair with CHALK! I don’t usually like bright colours in hair, but i think this looks really cute! I don’t know how good dying your hair with chalk is for your hair, but hey it’s not falling out! It also washes straight out, so great for a little splash of colour every now and again. (p.s It works better in a bun, so it doesn’t go all over your lovely clothes!!)

Kevin Murphy makes a product called COLOR BUG which is available to buy here. Could this be what LC uses?

Here is LC’s blog to show you how she does it with lots of do’s and don’ts!

TIP: Spray on Hairspray after to help lock in the colour!

Etta James & Christina Aguilera. Beautiful <3

Ha! Massive Mcfail! Anyone that knows me, knows that I can’t stand these sort of fast food places. Food that doesn’t decay? hmm…not for me thanks! So I’ve got to say that I’m secretly pleased about this Twitter campaign gone wrong. It looks like the public are not ”lovin’ it”, while McDonald’s tried launching a PR stunt using #McDStories, tweeters started sharing stories of their own fast food horrors of the fast food giant.
To make it worse McDonald’s had actually paid for the tweets to be at the top of the search results. They started with #MeetTheFarmers, telling of some of their great wholesome farmers that supply to them (No Problem with the farmers, I love a lettuce). Heres a link to a lovely video that was tweeted. They then started tweeting using #McDStories, but within minutes tweeters took the opportunity to show their angry outbursts. There was accusations of finding a finger nail in a burger, people being sick after eating there and many more. Ouch.
With a Twitter team of 10 you would think that one of the bright sparks could have seen it coming. They are definitely not the first company to have a twitter campaign backfire on them, but this could be called one of the biggest social media fails of the year! (Although, it is only January, who knows whats to come.) By opening up such a general hash-tag they let themselves in for negativity. If they had asked fans to tweet positive comments, then re-tweeted them if could have been a different story. They could even have given away prizes for the first 200 reputable opinions or run competitions for the best customer service comments.
I’m pretty sure they’ll recover and everyone will be eating Big Macs and McFlurries again soon. You know what they say, all news is good news!

This is my favourite advert at the moment! Not only did it make me laugh but it includes the iconic dynasty duo, Joan Collins and Stephanie Beacham. Snickers have replaced Mr T with the tagline ‘You’re not you when you’re hungry’.

To help promote the new Snickers campaign, Katie Price’s Twitter was hijacked on the 22 January. The confused followers read tweets on the Eurozone debt crisis and the Chinese monetary policy. With over 1.5 million followers this is a brilliant bit of PR for Snickers!!

The advert could encourage die-hard fans of Dynasty to appeal for a new series. Although there has been rumours flying about in the last year, Joan said in an interview on loose woman in Sept 2011, ”I’ve been in constant contact with Esther Shapiro, who wrote it, and apparently they’ve written a script.” The unfortunate death of former co-star, John Forsythe who played Blake Carrington would make it difficult for the show to return but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Richard Shapiro has confirmed that the show will be turned into a film and will serve as a prequel to the 1980’s show. The movie will be set in the 1960’s and will feature the love affair between Blake and Alexis, Collins Character in the show.

Bring on the Cat fights, glamour and giant shoulder pads!
